2. Near instant start-up
3. No moving parts
4. No data loss if you knock disk

Disadvantages
1. Failure of disk will most likely mean all data is lost so backups critical
2. High failure rate as new technology
3. Space is more expensive than traditional disk at the moment but falling
4. Some power issues in older machines
5. Needs a fresh installation of windows to be most effective
